Why keep a Gratitude Journal at all? (This is the saaaaaame intro for every Gratitude Journal entry. It’s here for the newbies to the journey.)
I try to start everyday with a Grateful heart. *duck face* Potna, I ain’t lying. You can check my IG accounts Queen/King. I get a lil raunchy on the Multiple_Sclerosis_Outlaw but I’m calmer, gentle with allthingsonelove. On both, I start my day sharing Gratitudes, stories of Gratitude and anything related to being Grateful. I’m dead ass serious about my Gratitudes because it keeps me present and accountable for my own energy. I recognize and appreciate the actions, words and energy of others intending me good. By starting my day with Gratitude, I have less MS pain, MS symptoms and MS depression because I’m actively pushing my thoughts towards a positive direction of Gratitude. My relationships with others are stronger because my Grateful ass notices what others do for me, to me, WITH me. *bows* I could go on and on and on and on about the benefits of being purposefully grateful buuuuuut… *whispers* Pssst, you know I wrote about it…

Why I chose THIS to start my day…
Say Sis, Queen, Hustler, Leader…
BUMP dem distractions. FOCUS on YOU:
• YOUR goals
• YOUR dreams
• YOUR passion
• YOUR purpose
• YOUR time
• YOUR inner G/energy
I do this with Gratitudes. Once I take time to acknowledge & appreciate the good things in my day, I don’t even see some of the bullshit because my mind has stepped over & moved on.
3.) Got my vote on! 🗳 YES, I did! I voted. Wife voted. Daughter voted. We all gave Biden/Harris that solid, family support. Were there any issues? Not one. Long line? Not at all. Mean workers? They were cool beans. Were any modifications for my disabilities? Nope but I didn’t need anything but a booth to roll up and do my thizzle. For the first time; I didn’t randomly select when facing an unknown seat/position, if I was unfamiliar with the candidates *ashamed* I used to do that stuff. I’d just guess or choose the name I thought sounded “black”. Now, I actually research candidates, platforms, bonds, parties, etc. If I don’t know, I don’t vote on it. I can’t be outchea casting for the WRONG shit because it may hurt me. Sure, knowing MORE would definitely help MORE but until I know MORE, I choose to pass. 🤔 Regardless, I’m grateful for the opportunity to participate.
2.) Kid #4 (SHE the youngest in the clique.) organized her siblings to clean the kitchen WITHOUT being told! 👏🏾👏🏾 *bows* BEASTMODE to my daughter! Dishes, cabinets, counters (Yes, there is a difference according to THEIR excuses. 😑). We left the crib early to conquer all the tasks and returning to a clean downstairs was freaking AWESOME. My wife gon exclaim, “OH! This is so sweet that I’ll feed y’all!” THAT brought on a full round of them shooting slugs and acting shocked. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 Maaaaaaaaaaan, they better be glad I wasn’t cooking because it’d be sandwiches and chips for dinner!
1.) OMG! We JUST avoided a seriously, WILD auto accident! That’s EXACTLY why I give thanks for people making it home. 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾 Shhhhhhiiiiiiid… 🤤🤤🤤 Here we are, easing down the jam-packed, legendary traffic corridor of I-45, FEEDER lane crunk, when a white car came crashing through all four lanes, FROM I-45, missed every car and smashed into a light pole. 😞😕😔 We couldn’t stop due to traffic nor turn around. My wife had a look like, “Dude. We ain’t stopping because we can’t help. Look but don’t start that lets-go-do-something-shit.” It made sense. I AM disabled so my help is certainly compromised. The result wasn’t too crazy but geeeeesh. I mean at least a half dozen cars were “blessed to escape”. I’m SHO happy we were one of those too!
