Gratitude Journal Day #83: Tuesday, 12/22/2020

Why keep a Gratitude Journal at all? (This is the saaaaaame intro for every Gratitude Journal entry. It’s here for the newbies to the journey.)

I try to start everyday with a Grateful heart. *duck face* Potna, I ain’t lying. You can check my IG accounts Queen/King. I get a lil raunchy on the Multiple_Sclerosis_Outlaw but I’m calmer, gentle with allthingsonelove. On both, I start my day sharing Gratitudes, stories of Gratitude and anything related to being Grateful. I’m dead ass serious about my Gratitudes because it keeps me present and accountable for my own energy. I recognize and appreciate the actions, words and energy of others intending me good. By starting my day with Gratitude, I have less MS pain, MS symptoms and MS depression because I’m actively pushing my thoughts towards a positive direction of Gratitude. My relationships with others are stronger because my Grateful ass notices what others do for me, to me, WITH me. *bows* I could go on and on and on and on about the benefits of being purposefully grateful buuuuuut… *whispers* Pssst, you know I wrote about it…

Why I chose THIS to start my day…

Let me be SUPER DUPER clear about this. Wellness includes self care. YOU take care of YOU. Yuuuuup, it is fly AF when others are looking for you too. My Queen cooks specifically for ME everyday, several times a day. I STILL need time for self care. I meditate, yoga, exercise as part of my regular, daily prevention and maintenance routine. I absolutely consider that self-care because I’m doing it for healing purposes too. I play video games for self-care. I watch crime shows and stream TV for self care. I go to bed early for self care. I get up EARLY for self care. I rarely get a full hour in but I get somethings and making myself priority is skill I must improve. *muscle* YOU DO TOO!

3.) Got news that my current job has overseas positions! Y’all. My heart started racing when the trainer dropped that nugget of information. *rubs hands* My plan is to move overseas but not to ANY country. I do have plans here. HOWEVER, if there was a way to work THIS gig, from MY home, in ANOTHER country, somewhere with a BEACH, warm weather and teach-english classes too…. Shooooooooot….. I was daydreaming all day. Just the thought, possibility of holding both gigs had me giggling and grateful as time was flying by.

2.) Already drained my first 24oz of water *licks lips* BOOM. Yup. *rolls neck* You can say it’s a big deal. That water helps me in soooo many ways, makes it easier to have a bowel movement, less trembling/shaking, less stomach cramps, more energy, successful trips to #1, control appetite, skin glowing *winks*, pass gas, breath smells better, *out of breathe* Y’all get it?

1.) Learned OneNote on Teams – Okay. I almost missed this tip and probably would have missed it but the colleague actually wrote it all out in Teams. Yooo. I have never used it but maaaaaaan, it sure comes in handy. I can easily copy and paste critical lines and bits of necessary instructions to the OneNote pad. Before, I was always scribbling stuff in my notebook, barely legible. I can snap a screenshot and save it in the app instead of taking cellphone pics with that wack, distorted background of ‘screenlight’ that makes it difficult to read. Dawg, ya boi might actually start learning something more now. #Salute and #grateful to her for sharing this!
