Why keep a Gratitude Journal at all? (This is the saaaaaame intro for every Gratitude Journal entry. It’s here for the newbies to the journey.)
I try to start everyday with a Grateful heart. *duck face* Potna, I ain’t lying. You can check my IG accounts Queen/King. I get a lil raunchy on the Multiple_Sclerosis_Outlaw but I’m calmer, gentle with allthingsonelove. On both, I start my day sharing Gratitudes, stories of Gratitude and anything related to being Grateful. I’m dead ass serious about my Gratitudes because it keeps me present and accountable for my own energy. I recognize and appreciate the actions, words and energy of others intending me good. By starting my day with Gratitude, I have less MS pain, MS symptoms and MS depression because I’m actively pushing my thoughts towards a positive direction of Gratitude. My relationships with others are stronger because my Grateful ass notices what others do for me, to me, WITH me. *bows* I could go on and on and on and on about the benefits of being purposefully grateful buuuuuut… *whispers* Pssst, you know I wrote about it…

Why I chose THIS to start my day…
This is what I sent to my Queen over our STAYcation. I am living and loving my life to the fullest. Things are simple. I focus on Gratitude as a method of directing my #energy and controlling my thoughts. I get to end my year chilling with her, no kids, Door Dash for food and hiding in the bed. It was everything I thought it would be, the food was good, the room was handicap accessible. the whole experience had me thinking hard that I can bring this home. Even on STAYcation, I’m blogging and working my Gratitude Journal, talking with others, promoting the website. Basically, there has got to be a way to combine the two and I believe it all lies in my perspective. I’ve discussed it with the Queen and she feels it is possible as well. The comfort, relaxation and overall feeling of “Yes-we-earned-this” is something we can create at home too. How she asked?
Me: Well, we start by being grateful that we have opportunity to do it. After that… *wink*
5.) The Queen took our yoga mats. 😮 I’m grateful for this step because it shows our serious SHE is taking this transition and journey into wellness. It is not just me, #sickAF and #disabledAF, that improves with yoga, water, meditation, exercise and positive thoughts; everyone does. Seeing others around me taking the journey, shifting towards selfcare, keeps me focused as well! The energy becomes a cycle of behaviors that feed off each other.
4.) The house in good shape 👍🏾👍🏾 We’ve all seen the movies. The kids have some big house party, stuff gets wrecked, damages… *looking scared* I had NO reason to fear such actions, parties, people but it doesn’t mean that I am not grateful! *daps kids* I don’t think they moved from the spots we left them! LOL!
3.) Tattoo appointments 👀🤞🏾🖕🏾 I’m a huuuuuge fan of tattoos and I finally scheduled my appointment for the next piece of artwork. *excited yell* OOOOOO!
2.) I gotta J-O-B that aligns with my purpose 🖤☎️💻🗃 Let me settle down. *sits down* I enjoyed my 4 days off. I loved those 4 days off. Here I am returning to the gig and I genuinely appreciate helping others. This J-O-B gives me that. And it’s work-from-home. #Boom
1.) Got Hulu back! 💰💸💲💳💱 The wife and kids are crunk on this one. *makes muscle* My son watches anime. My wife watches a bunch of reality shows. My eldest daughter watches… *thinking face* I don’t know what she watches on Hulu but she was suuuuper happy to have it back. The youngest daughters just wanted more choices period. Me? Ya boi just grateful to provide it and close out this year of bouncing back!
