Why keep a Gratitude Journal at all? (This is the saaaaaame intro for every Gratitude Journal entry. It’s here for the newbies to the journey.)
I try to start everyday with a Grateful heart. *duck face* Potna, I ain’t lying. You can check my IG accounts Queen/King. I get a lil raunchy on the Multiple_Sclerosis_Outlaw but I’m calmer, gentle with allthingsonelove. On both, I start my day sharing Gratitudes, stories of Gratitude and anything related to being Grateful. I’m dead ass serious about my Gratitudes because it keeps me present and accountable for my own energy. I recognize and appreciate the actions, words and energy of others intending me good. By starting my day with Gratitude, I have less MS pain, MS symptoms and MS depression because I’m actively pushing my thoughts towards a positive direction of Gratitude. My relationships with others are stronger because my Grateful ass notices what others do for me, to me, WITH me. *bows* I could go on and on and on and on about the benefits of being purposefully grateful buuuuuut… *whispers* Pssst, you know I wrote about it…

Why I chose THIS to start my day…
I chose this because of yesterday. I almost ruined my day OFF by OVER-thinking my work responsibilities. We are responsible for completing training modules but didn’t get them until the day before the due date. 😠 Which means, on your day OFF, you got work to do. Ohhhh, I was HURT. I solved it with music, GREAT food and kicking it with family. I’m work-from-home so when you REALLY get down to it, my #sickAF ass NEEDED an opportunity to shine, stand out, maybe even impress a “boss, manager, supervisor”. There is no camera or mic required to complete the modules so I turned it into a 1-man jam session and powered through. The rest of my team was all outside, joking with kids and helping with the food prep. I didn’t really want to do anything but talk and trip out so that’s ALL I did. Well, that, my modules and adjusting my perspective & attitude. 🤓
1.) Water at my bedside! This is biiiiiig. I didn’t put it there because I was legit sleep by 9pm, in da bed, under covers, no tv, out like a lightweight. I did my usual waking up every 2 hours with spasms, cramps, etc. but THIS time there was a beautiful, tinted with lemon, 24oz blessing of H20. It quenched my thirst and kept me from rolling into the kitchen and stuff. Real talk, that’s like a physical reminder that somebody LOVE me! (😗😙 to the Queen!)
2.) Got my training completed! 😮🤤 Yeeeeeees, I told the story but I also FINISHED. I’m not about to mess up my shot at improving my standing at a gig that has me working, kids HOME-schooling and Queen retired. 😉👏🏽
3.) Bro-in-law grilled! 👏🏽 MAN! He held DOWN that grill, ribs, an absolute, Flintstone sized, SLAB of salmon and the classics, chicken, burgers, etc. It was on point like a MUG. I haven’t even started on the blessing that introduced as 4-cheese LOBSTER macaroni! *drops phone* YUP. That good.
