Gratitude Journal Day #114: Saturday, 1/23/21

Why I chose THIS to start my day…

3.) Got off an hour early on Friday – Y’all know how crunk I started off yesterday? Actually, I been crunk all week, full of energy, want, drive, all that stuff that makes a business go. Got to work and the systems were down. I wasn’t tripping because I’m getting better and already knew what to do, say, everything. I was cool beans with a system malfunction, working it at my pace, solving problems. Friday tho, after the system malfunction, my whole doggone computer went down for the count. Nothing will boot to the hard drive (I think that’s how it was explained.). Why am I grateful for that issue? It meant I got off early. *fist bump*

2.) Kleenex – I’m scrapping and scratching with allergies right about now. I grew up thinking all toilet paper was toilet paper and kleenex was a luxury. I still think that but I damn sho appreciate and recognize that Kleenex is a blessing for blowing the nose.

1.) Key Lime juice (bottled) – I’m lazy. I admit it. You ain’t gon do nothing about it either. I’m grateful for a mug because instead of cutting a fresh lime, I got decent lime juice at the ready. *winks*

Why keep a Gratitude Journal at all? (This is the saaaaaame intro for every Gratitude Journal entry. It’s here for the newbies to the journey.)

I try to start everyday with a Grateful heart. *duck face* Potna, I ain’t lying. You can check my IG accounts Queen/King. I get a lil raunchy on the Multiple_Sclerosis_Outlaw but I’m calmer, gentle with allthingsonelove. On both, I start my day sharing Gratitudes, stories of Gratitude and anything related to being Grateful. I’m dead ass serious about my Gratitudes because it keeps me present and accountable for my own energy. I recognize and appreciate the actions, words and energy of others intending me good. By starting my day with Gratitude, I have less MS pain, MS symptoms and MS depression because I’m actively pushing my thoughts towards a positive direction of Gratitude. My relationships with others are stronger because my Grateful ass notices what others do for me, to me, WITH me. *bows* I could go on and on and on and on about the benefits of being purposefully grateful buuuuuut… *whispers* Pssst, you know I wrote about it…
