What I’m GRATEFUL about today…
3.) Movies come DIRECT to you now – Wait, wait, wait. *shakes head* Hear me out on this one. I, like many others, am disabled AF. I don’t really go anywhere on a usual basis. The kids HOME-skooling? I love it because I see them so much more and actually trying to note how they’re changing and responding to aaaaallllll that is going on around them. *makes circles with hands* It is a LOT but it definitely makes my day more interesting and fly by. We’re always together so rarely am I physically alone except for when I’m doing the Customer Service gig. Let me get to the point. I am grateful how movies come straight to us now. Netflix has been killing it, Hulu gets my dollar too but HBO Max is the Rookie of the Year! Basically what I’m saying is we finna watch Judas and the Black Messiah, then Malcolm and Marie and not settled on #3 because it’s supposed to involve dem kids. LOVING THIS!
2.) Took that VTO like a BOSS – Voluntary Time Off. Yup, my work computer messed up and instead of sitting in a chair, paid to do nothing BUT sit there and respond to 10 supervisors, who EACH randomly message the same, freaking question. *blows* I slid off the clock and burned off to play video games and work on writing. Enjoyed it too.
1.) Bought my Queen’s Valentines gift early – Like a real romantic. *brushes shoulders* I KNOW she’ll be surprised at what I did and how I did it. Now, I gotta find a way to give it to her. It’s been years since I could spend my own money to do stuff with my Queen. Ya boi do his damnest to make sho it POP now that he can do SOME-thing. See, the trick is this. I’ve read so many self-improvement books, jammed podcasts over communication, keep a Gratitude Journal… *nods head* I no longer have the perspective of “Oh. Valentine’s Day so I GOT to do blah blah blah, yada yada yada.” Oh no PLAYA. I can do a lil sometin sumTIN and I’m so grateful and present that I enjoy it more than she or the kids do. My perspective is now, “Ooo. Valentine’s Day. I GET to blah blah blah, yada yada yada.” See the difference? I do. I feel the difference and it totally bonds the energy between she and I.

Why keep a Gratitude Journal at all? (This is the saaaaaame intro for every Gratitude Journal entry. It’s here for the newbies to the journey.)
I try to start everyday with a Grateful heart. *duck face* Potna, I ain’t lying. You can check my IG accounts Queen/King. I get a lil raunchy on the Multiple_Sclerosis_Outlaw but I’m calmer, gentle with allthingsonelove. On both, I start my day sharing Gratitudes, stories of Gratitude and anything related to being Grateful. I’m dead ass serious about my Gratitudes because it keeps me present and accountable for my own energy. I recognize and appreciate the actions, words and energy of others intending me good. By starting my day with Gratitude, I have less MS pain, MS symptoms and MS depression because I’m actively pushing my thoughts towards a positive direction of Gratitude. My relationships with others are stronger because my Grateful ass notices what others do for me, to me, WITH me. *bows* I could go on and on and on and on about the benefits of being purposefully grateful buuuuuut… *whispers* Pssst, you know I wrote about it…
