Gratitude Journal Day #141: Sunday, 2/21/21

Aight. Start my Sunday RIGHTEOUS with…

3.) Wore Jordans! Story goes like this. I get diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis in late 2016. As the disease progressed, my walking got worse, canes, walker, wheelchair, electric wheelchair. Along the way, I lost the ability to wear sneakers because they’re too heavy for my legs and feet. This weekend, I stepped out from the Winter Storm in Jordans like a boss. Yup, stepped over snow, water, mud and all kinds of tricky-for-people-that-can’t-walk-alone dangers. IN MY J’S! I know I’m improving, getting stronger and leading the way for others to follow. #Grateful

2.) Popeyes Cajun Flounder Sandwich – Y’all seen the commercials. These fast food, burger franchises are gang banging on fish sandwiches. Mickey Ds had the original, decent one. Jack-In-The-Box has one, pretty good. I tried the Popeyes but came away thinking its at the bottom. Grateful I tried it. Grateful it filled me up, Grateful I know NOT to order again.

1.) TWICE, I’ve successfully picked a sativa by scent! There are no dispensaries in my neck of the woods. Bruh. You don’t walk up in the local, neighborhood, entrepreneur and ask questions about saitva, indica, hybrid, where it comes from, benefits, none of that stuff. He just says, “I got that FIRE dawg. How much you want? Ohh, you sick and shit? Damn. You can smell it and tell me what you think.” Well, I have been correct two times in row. #Boss

Why keep a Gratitude Journal at all? (This is the saaaaaame intro for every Gratitude Journal entry. It’s here for the newbies to the journey.)

I try to start everyday with a Grateful heart. *duck face* Potna, I ain’t lying. You can check my IG accounts Queen/King. I get a lil raunchy on the Multiple_Sclerosis_Outlaw but I’m calmer, gentle with allthingsonelove. On both, I start my day sharing Gratitudes, stories of Gratitude and anything related to being Grateful. I’m dead ass serious about my Gratitudes because it keeps me present and accountable for my own energy. I recognize and appreciate the actions, words and energy of others intending me good. By starting my day with Gratitude, I have less MS pain, MS symptoms and MS depression because I’m actively pushing my thoughts towards a positive direction of Gratitude. My relationships with others are stronger because my Grateful ass notices what others do for me, to me, WITH me. *bows* I could go on and on and on and on about the benefits of being purposefully grateful buuuuuut… *whispers* Pssst, you know I wrote about it…
