Yoo! Y’all rocking the late start today? I’m ready to share a few Gratitudes. 🤜🏾🤛🏾🖤🤴🏾
3.) 7 Beaches – SEVEN y’all! We didn’t play at all 7 but we saw 7 beaches. Each beach, more beautiful than the one before, fishing beaches, party beaches, craaaaaazy beaches, “rich” beaches, surfing beaches, it was non-stop and I never got tired of them. I’m grateful because that’s one of the pre-planned activities we scheduled BEFORE leaving but all the suspicious activity crap forced us to cancel. Theeeeen, accounts are opening and we jumped back on it.
We spoke a lot with Wilmer on drive #2. The homie is from Esmeraldas, BLACK city of Ecuador 🇪🇨, which made us feel closer automatically because his hometown was another pre-planned activity canceled due to suspicious activity. He showed us videos, pictures and everything. I’m grateful for that because a LIVE testimony of the place is better than reviews and YouTube. 🙏🏾
2.) I thought ahead this time! – Passports and extra clothes was MY insistence. I remember those instructions and even though I knew I wasn’t gonna test the ocean temperatures, I ensured THEY did. Besides being grateful that THEY could swim, I’m grateful we didn’t jack up Wilmer’s CLEAN ride with sand, mud and water on his leather seats. *beats chest* I THOUGHT ahead! 😉🤣🤣
1.) Questions with kids – BOI. I’m grateful they were honest. 😳 Apparently, ol’ Mommy is STILL top dawg of parenting round here. They tell her first on everything, fights, dates, need money, fears, EVERYTHING. Wiz said me on some stuff but she’s my only Daddy’s Kid and wanted me to feel included. 🤷🏾♂️🤪 I’m NOT tripping because they go to her first either. I USED to get hurt by stuff like that (just a 🤏🏾 because I thought I was the Great Communicator). Now? I’m grateful I hold the position of “bad cop Daddy” vs. “good cop Mommy”. Number one, bet WE, parents, can improve on child raising now that I know and accept I’m the bad one. Number 2, I’m disabled so I see it as my kids wouldn’t try running game on me. Awwww. 🧐🤞🏾 Number 3, that means I’m still seen and treated like the disciplinarian. #Boom!
