3.) Low-key Anniversary – My FAVORITE type of Anniversary. I don’t need fancy, smancy dinners, new outfits, vacations, alcohol (I prefer craft beer. ππ), nooone of that. My love language is words of affirmation and quality time so just US is my jam. We did get some comedies in and that was good to get away from our usual murder/death/conspiracy stuff. She had steak, I had trout. OH, that trout was so tender, Brussels spouts weren’t smushy, potatoes were crisp on outside but warm, mushy on inside… *mouth waters* π’ That’s all I needed. ESPECIALLY since I had a GOOD, well thought idea foiled by financial restraints. AGAIN. *tell me about IT* π€·πΎββοΈπ
2.) Agreed on punishing kids – We don’t agree often (DIDN’T follow through last night! π€πΎ) but we did about that kitchen left a mess and food left out. Nooooo. I do NOT agree with leaving food out. Now, the punishing didn’t last like I said but at least the message got across. I hope it did. What I’m grateful for is TODAY, it looks right. *wipes brow* For them and ME. A clean kitchen means an early breakfast is possible! π€πΎπ€πΎππΎ
1.) Arm of my Zinger broke but I’m STILL swanging and banging on the 1s and 2s – Well of COURSE I’m grateful, happy, positive that it still actually runs but the WHYs… First, I didn’t fall out and hurt myself. Second, I thought NEGATIVE at first but caught myself, changed my perspective. (I immediately thought, “Damn. When it rains, it pours. Of all days, why today, yada yada yada.” Third, I’m pretty sure it can be fixed. Fourth, it cements my need for a DIFFERENT wheelchair in Ecuador πͺπ¨ 2022. I’m NOT grateful it broke but I have Gratitudes to accept what happened.
